Supremacy of Jesus
In my class at church, we just wrapped up a fascinating study on Christian Apologetics (the reliability of Scripture and historical evidences for the Bible). For me, faith has come easy, but for some it is more difficult needing facts and evidence. The study is amazing because of the concrete evidence supporting the reliabilty of Scripture, the historical evidences of Jesus' life, ministry, death, and resurrection.
I received this today in an email from a friend; unfortunately, I do not know who the author is. But I like the way it illustrates Jesus' supremacy in ways we can relate.
IN CHEMISTRY...
JESUS TURNED WATER TO WINE
IN BIOLOGY...
JESUS WAS BORN WITHOUT THE NORMAL CONCEPTION.
IN PHYSICS...
JESUS DISPPROVED THE LAW OF GRAVITY WHEN HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN
IN ECONOMICS...
JESUS DISPPROVED THE LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURN BY FEEDING 5000 MEN (not...INCLUDING the WOMEN and CHILDREN) WITH TWO FISHES & 5 LOAVES OF BREAD;
IN MEDICINE...
JESUS CURED THE SICK AND THE BLIND WITHOUT ADMINISTERING A SINGLE DOSE OF DRUGS,
IN HISTORY...
JESUS IS THE BEGINNING AND THE END;
IN GOVERNMENT...
JESUS SAID THAT HE SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, PRINCE OF PEACE;
IN RELIGION..
JESUS SAID NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM;

Jesus is awesome! And your right. There are a lot of people searching for meaning and hope in life. Nothing can really satisfy that in this world. You could have everything from material stuff to the best relationships and still feel alone and empty.
Only Jesus can fill that void but it is only the Holy Spirit who can touch the human heart in realizing this. We are just His tools.
