What are you Saying?

Are you approachable? What kind of vibe or signal do you give off? Are you interested in dating? Is your shyness misunderstood as disinterest? Do you appear desperate? Are people drawn to your warmth? Have past wounds taken root in your heart and flash ‘keep away.’ Does a depressive or critical spirit make you a downer to be around? Are you too independent? Too passive? Insecure? Do people experience Jesus when they are with you?

If in doubt, ask a close friend or family member what kind of signals you project. Jesus offers us the chance to live an abundant life and that includes enjoying the gifts of friendship and love. We can sometimes be surprised to learn of negative habits we’ve picked up that actually get in the way of the Christ-centered relationships we desire. Don’t let the enemy rob you of joy; ask God to help you change and believe that He will. We express our faith, and are more Christlike, when we love.
